Numerology – What Your Birth Date Reveals About You!

The birth date describes who we are, what we are good at and what our inborn abilities are. It also points to what we have to learn and the challenges we are facing. The birth number is only one puzzle piece in a total numerology reading. The information given here is meant as an introduction to numerology.

Due to repeated requests I have also added the double digit master numbers 11, 22 and 33. I still recommend that you get a full numerology reading to get the total meaning of these numbers in your life. I also want to point out that those who have double digits are always influenced also by the single digit meaning of number.

Figuring Out Your Birth Number

To figure out your Birth Number, add all the numbers in the birth date together like in the example until there is only one digit. The Birth Number does not prevent you from being anything you want, it will just color your choice differently.

Example:

March 20, 1950
3 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 9 + 5 + 0 = 20 = 2 + 0 = 2
2 is the Birth Number to read for the birth date in the example.

  3. Which is the right way to calculate the numbers. 3 sites and three variations of how to add them. I get the same number 1972 03 17 = 3 but I get 30/3 with yours and I get 12/3 and 21/3.

The reason I came to the web was to research Linda Goodmans Key Number of Birth 17/8 (8&4 what is your take).

    Thanks

    • I don”t know what to tell you, as like you I have come across all the different variations of adding the numbers for your Birthdate and each one claims to be the correct one. So I usually add it in different ways just to see what other numbers are involved.

  4. MY BRITHDAY IS 12-12-1960 WHICH COMES OUT TO 22 ALSO MY NAME AS 12 LETTERS, THE MORE I SEARCH THE MORE IS HAVE THESE SAMES NUMBERS POPPING UP. WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEANS?

    • The only person who can totally figure out what it all means is you. The best way to get there is to read as many interpretations and ideas as possible and then take the ones that you resonate with.

  5. Hi,

I am born on 18 feb 1984, at the age of 18 i faced lot of problems and it continued till 24 and since then i have become very strong mentally, n i have noticed that i have this huge inclination towards anything related to military (I tried to join military but cudnt), animal welfare and one more is falling in love (but in a very rich and healthy manner). I just cannot afford to stay single….though relationships were nt able to materialize because of lack of commitment from other sides. i have got hurt in love many times but still i never stop being falling in love…..Why it happens with me….i dont do it purposely or just for fun…i instinctively fall in love n end up in hurt. Military, Animals and Love…these three words surrounds my life. I want to know if they by any means related to my birth number.

  11. ok people, im not a a REAL numerologist but i have been known to be good at this for what ever reason, from my studies/trial and error i think chaldean is by far the most accurate naturally it is the oldest numerology and the one i trust. its very simple and has helped me out tremendously i now consider myself psychic hahaha that sounds so silly but its true anyway this is the formula for it and if you apply it to your friends and then from a free site look up their lifepath #’s (description)and see if the information underneath the lifepath number matches what you know about your friend, i promise you guys it will be scary true and in a way offensive to certain people (especially your a-hole friends *8’s lol ) its so easy too all you do is this :

month of birth + day of birth = life path # ok so heres an example of mine :
    september 27th is 09+27=(lifepath)
since my day of birth is on the 27th i would break it down to a single digit 2+7= 9 unless its a (11, 44, 22 *master numbers) so september is 9 and 27 broken down (2+7) is a 9 when i combine my month and day i get 18 so i must break that down to a single digit 1+8=9 and thats all folks…and boy the 9 fits me so well

  12. my daughter s date of birth is 26th of May 2011 .

I am shortlisting the names as per numerology which ends up with number 5 by adding .

is it correct? her name should be kept in five ?

    • Hi,

Thanks for your question and my answer is I have no idea. Give you daughter the name that you feel she deserves and don’t get too hung up on the numbers.

  13. Good website it does not corrupt life as because being given to masters numbers and is not give/treat as the such special and different, but as is! We are just such things over here, how whatever could be just such. Renouncing?? A given 77!!

  16. For MANY years, Every Single Day I look at the clock as it changes to 6:27, which is the month and day I was born. Sometimes I will wake up out of my sleep and look at the clock and it’s changing to 6:27am. If I don’t wake up in the morning, then that evening I will pick up my phone or look at a clock and it’s changing to 6:27pm. Because it happens every day and the numbers have a significance to the day I was born, it makes me want to know more. It is not a coincidence since it happens everyday. I just can’t find out any information that would shed some light on this for me.

    • I can’t really tell you why you see those numbers and what they mean. There are so many ideas about this floating around and you can find them easily by doing a Google search. I personally think they are triggers or a wake-up call, but for what I don’t know. Whenever I see numbers like that it makes me feel good and smile. So I take them as a positive omen and go on to have a happy day.

  17. so what is eary about me is that i was born in 5/22/02 and i was 6pounds and 6 onces wweird right but i do not know what it mean do you have any clue? Good luck bad luck im cluless? Thank you-Kellinne F.

    • Hi,
Sorry, I don’t give personal forecasts. Embrace what you have and the situation you are in and to your surprise everything will then change. I have read somewhere that when you can love what you hate, then you are ready to move on.

  19. Hi first I wana say thanks…..

    • Hi Anish,

I don’t give readings. The key thing is to follow your heart and do what makes you happy. You are in charge of your life. Go for it and make minor course adjustments along the way until you are where you want to be. Good luck.

      Marlies
