Biorhythms are biological cycles that begin at birth and influence us all our lives. Each cycle starts at birth at an imaginary horizon line and then alternates from a high period (above the horizon) when our energies and abilities are high, to a low period (below the horizon) when our energies and capabilities are reduced. The 2 days where each cycles crosses over that horizon line are called critical days, when the cycle is crossing from positive to negative and from negative to positive. During these critical days our abilities and energies fluctuate wildly and we are more accident prone, and more apt to make the wrong decisions.

|33 days||judgment, logic, mental alertness, conceptual ability, decision making, memory recall, ability to learn, analytical functions|
|38 days||unconscious perception, hunches, instincts, sixth sense|
